Our Story

HOW WE GOT HERE

January 2020. Undocked launches. Days later, a global pandemic rewrites the rules for every supply chain on the planet. In hindsight, the timing was either terrible or perfect — depending on how you look at it.

Our founders had spent their careers inside enterprise supply chain systems. Manhattan Active. Blue Yonder. Körber. The complex integration layers that connect them. They had seen what good implementation looked like, and more importantly, what it usually looked like instead — over budget, over time, and handed off before the hard part began.

The problem was never the technology. It was the model. Large firms deploying junior consultants on critical programmes. Senior expertise showing up for kickoff and disappearing before go-live. Solutions built for the average client, not the actual one.

Undocked was the answer to that frustration. Six years on, we have grown to 125+ consultants and engineers, built a client roster that spans some of the most demanding supply chains in retail, distribution, and logistics, and formalised what has always been our edge into Meridian — our AI-Modernized Implementations delivery model.

We are not the biggest name on the shortlist. We are the ones our clients call when the biggest name didn't deliver.

We have heard all the reasons implementations fail. We built our practice around them.

Specialists in supply chain. By design.

We do not do everything. We do supply chain implementation, modernisation, and AI-led transformation — with people who have run these programmes before, not managed them from a distance. Our team has implemented Manhattan Active WMS and OMS across 40+ distribution centres, built custom OMS platforms from scratch, and migrated mission-critical legacy systems without losing the business logic buried inside them. That focus is deliberate.

We could tell you about our culture. The team offsites, the recognition programmes, the flexible working arrangements. And those things are real - we invest in all of them.

But the number that actually tells the story is this: fewer than 1 in 20 people leave Undocked in any given year, across both our US and India teams. In a services industry where attrition is treated as an inevitability, we think that is worth something.

It means the senior consultant who joins your programme does not disappear six months in. It means institutional knowledge stays inside engagements. It means the team you meet is the team you get.

We also compensate well — top 10% by benchmark — offer ESOP to key contributors, and invest seriously in development and career growth. Not because it is good optics. Because the quality of our delivery depends on it.

Our partnership with Sampark supports the education and development of children of migrant workers in India. It sits outside our P&L and inside our values - a reminder that the organisations we help build should leave the world a little better than they found it. We think that applies to us too.
